How does Daloc receive your personal data?
Daloc collects personal data about you in the following cases, for example: when you register to download .dwg and BIM files from Daloc’s website, when you fill in an inquiry form about one of Daloc’s product offers, when you take part in a sales activity, exhibition or other event, when you contact our customer services, or when you in any other way provide us with information that will be included in a future agreement or which will be used by us to meet our commitments to you.
What types of data is processed?
Daloc processes personal data that is submitted to us. This may include name, email address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, and/or other information that you submit to us or which is otherwise necessary in order for us to meet our commitments to you.
Why does Daloc process data concerning you?
Daloc processes your personal data for various purposes. Primarily, we process your data in order to meet our commitments to you, to give you good customer service and to provide well-functioning, efficient and simple services.
In addition, we process your data in connection with warranties and in connection with customer and supplier surveys so that we can give you an opportunity to influence our offers and services, and so that we can send you marketing materials about Daloc’s future product launches, news and other offers. When preparing an agreement, Daloc may request a credit check in order to make an assessment of your credit status.
When does Daloc AB have the right to process your personal data?
Daloc may only process your personal data if it has a legal basis to do so under the applicable data protection legislation. This means that, for our processing to be legal, processing must be in order for us to fulfil an agreement with you or in order to meet a legal obligation. Processing of data can also be based on legitimate interests.
In some cases, Daloc may require your consent in order to process your personal data. When you provide consent in such cases, you will always receive clear information about what you are consenting to.
Who has access to your personal data?
Your personal data is used by Daloc and Daloc’s personal data processors. We do not disclose personal data to other companies unless we are required to do so by the law, legal ordinance, decision by a public authority, or in order to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.
We never forward, sell or exchange your personal data for marketing purposes to a third party outside the Daloc group. Data is forwarded to a third party only when required in order to fulfil an existing agreement or to meet a requirement established by law or statute.

Daloc protects your privacy. Daloc therefore works constantly to implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures that in each case are required to protect your personal data and otherwise ensure that processing of data is performed in accordance with current legislation.
How long is your personal data stored for?
Daloc stores your personal data for as long as is necessary in connection with the purpose for collecting the data, or for the period required by law.
What are your rights?
You have the right to receive information free of charge about the personal data that we process concerning you. This is called a register extract.
If the data is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request to have it rectified. You also have the right, in certain cases, to have your personal data deleted. This may apply if the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, if you withdraw your consent and no other legal grounds are applicable, or if the data has been processed illegally. Daloc cannot delete certain items of personal data in cases where there is a legal requirement for storage, such as financial accounting rules, or where there are other legitimate reasons for storing the data. You are free to object at any time to direct marketing or other processing of your data based on a balancing of interests. In such a case, you must specify what aspect of personal data processing you are objecting to. If we consider that such processing must nonetheless be undertaken, then we must show that there are legitimate reasons for processing which weigh more heavily.
If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please send a letter to us at the address given on the right-hand side of the page. The letter must be signed and contain a copy of an identification document. This is necessary to ensure that we only disclose data to the correct person. The response will be sent to your registered address.
